Bariatric Surgery
Also commonly known as weight loss surgery. These surgeries are performed in morbidly obese patients with an extremely high BMI and who also suffer from conditions such as very high blood pressure, sleep apnea, type 2 diabetes, and other diseases that occur due to obesity. Bariatric surgical procedures induce weight loss in an individual by limiting the amount of food the stomach can hold. Minimal access surgery
Minimal access surgery utilizes smaller incisions or cuts as compared to conventional larger incisions to gain access during surgeries. Through the small incision, the surgeon passes a telescope, known as an endoscope, which has a video camera at the end that enters the body cavity.
Plastic Surgery
Our highly-qualified team of surgeons works in tandem with a specialized team of plastic surgeons to perform cosmetic surgeries and other such related procedures.
Gallstones Removal
Gallstones are stones that are formed in the gall bladder that block the flow of bile in the digestive system and lead to symptoms such as nausea, abdominal pain, or bloating. A minimally invasive surgical procedure called laparoscopic cholecystectomy removes the gall bladder by making small incisions in the abdomen.
Appendectomy
Appendectomy is a surgical procedure done to remove the appendix. This is required when there is a chronic inflammation of the appendix, also known as appendicitis.
Hernia Repair
A hernia occurs when an internal organ or a particular body part pushes out through an area where it should not. This most commonly occurs in the abdominal area where a small portion of the intestine or any other soft tissue projects out through a weaker area in the muscle area of the abdominal wall. This is visible externally as a bulge near the groin area. In a hernia repair, the surgeon will push back the organ or tissue into place and strengthen the abdominal wall with stitches.
