Dr. S Davavala is a Consultant Gastroenterologist, Endoscopist and Hepatologist in Mumbai, associated with several hospitals and clinics. These include Fortis Hospital (Mulund).
Dr. S Davavala is adept in all areas of Gastroenterology. He independently performs all therapeutic endoscopies including ERCP, EUS, capsule endoscopy, oesophageal and anorectal manometry, as well as dealing with emergency cases. He also handles OPDs of senior consultants in their absence. In addition, Dr. Davavala has been involved in training, having conducted teaching clinics for postgraduate students, and bedside training for new interns and students.
Dr. Davavala has two DNB (Diplomate of the National Board) titles to his name, e in Medicine from Dr. Balabhai Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai, and the other in Gastroeonnterology from the Asian Institute of Gastroenterology in Hyderabad. In addition .Gastroenterology department from September 2011 to October 2013 and later as Associate Consultant for a couple of months at the end of 2014. In between, he completed a Fellowship in Basic and Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy in Pune from January to October 2014.
