He is currently head of the department of nephrology and transplant at Fortis Hospital Mulund, since its inception. He has an active interest in renal obstetrics and transplantation medicine.
Dr. Haresh Dodeja completed his MD (Medicine) from GMC, Mumbai, and DNB nephrology from Jaslok Hospital. He received his Royal College Fellowship 2004-2005 in Nephrology from Leicester General Hospital UK, with special training in renal obstetrics and long-term management of transplant patients. he has done the first live related, first cadaver, and first ABOi transplant in the loco regional area of Mulund. He has written for oxford publications in their desk reference for nephrology.
