Dr Bindu is currently working as a Senior Consultant in Critical Care Medicine at Fortis Hospital, Mulund. She pursued her postgraduate training after completing the Diploma in Anesthesiology (DA) from Calicut Medical College. She then joined the prestigious Sundaram Medical Foundation in Chennai to receive the Diplomat of National Board (DNB) in Anesthesiology. Her passion for Critical Care encouraged her to pursue and complete the European Diploma in Intensive Care (EDIC) medicine. Dr. Bindu worked as a solo Anesthesia Consultant, pursuing her own clinical anesthesia practice at various locations in Western Mumbai. She is competent in doing simple ASA I cases to more complex ASA IV and supra-Major cases. She also manages post-operative care in ICU. She earned a strong reputation for doing safe anesthesia for complex surgical cases, high-risk obstetrics, and even pediatrics including neonate. At Fortis Mulund, she heads a 23 bed medical ICU which during the pandemic doubled as the main COVID-19 ICU.
